My husband was seeing another women which I found out about, he swears that
they were only friends and I tend to believe him as he did get caught having
an affair with someone else and admitted to that.

The woman he was friends with came upto him at the club recently and just
started talking about her work. I was nearby heard what was said, but she
didn't realise I was there.
The problem I have is that my husband says that they have had no contact
with each other for 1 1/2 to 2 years. I ask all of you if some one hasn't
seen another for so long wouldn't you be asking 'how they are', 'haven't
seen you for ages', not just talking about a problem at their work.

My husband says I'm being childish, I need help because I don't believe
anything he says, and he can't help what she says.

Am I being too suspicious or am I right to think that they have had more
recent contact than he says.

Hi Ryan

See you are worried too. How did you find out about him seeing the
woman he os only friends with? Is that the one he has had no contact
with for 1.5 to 2 years? How long ago was the other affair?

I tried to ask myself how I would greet someone I haven't seen in a
couple of years and it seemed I would need to do some catching up. Of
course, some people just start right into their own selves and carry
on. May be like me, you need to keep an eye but not to a point of
driving yourself crazy (not easy to do). Of course if they have met by
accident they could have caught up a little, but its sounds like he
didn't leave that option open. Good luck.

I am in the same boat. My husband swears that he has a "friendship"
with another woman. They stay up all night talking to each other on the
phone, I just found this out, they e-mail each other, the MSN each
other, and they use a comp. program to talk to each other when they
can't be on the phone. He swears that it is just a friendship. He has
promised to stop talking to her but he doesn't. He has called her
aleast 2 times sinced he promised to cut off ties. This is the third
woman in the past year he has had a close "friendship" with. My advice
to you and myself trust your feelings, and do what you have to do to
keep your self-esteem. Love is not always forever.
