Relationship breaking my bank

Hello All,

I am new to long distance relationships and with my honey teaching in
Japan for a year. I am happy for him but I depleting my savings just
trying to stay in touch. What do people do? I know email is free, but
that's not letting me hear his voice. My phone bill over 200 dollars
last month. I wish I could just let go for a year but I miss him
terribly. He calls me but not as often as I do.

Look for a prepaid phone card that has low rates to Japan.
The following seems to be 380 minutes for $10, or less than
3 cents per minute. (Assuming you're in the U.S.) www.walton2000.com
I've used their products before, but there are many others equally
good or perhaps better.

I use OneSuite for long-distance international calls (I checked their site,
onesuite.com and the rates to Japan are 4 cents a minute). Probably a bit
better than what you are paying if you are breaking your bank, unless of
course your phone calls are like 24 hours long. On a personal note, maybe
you should go to Japan to teach English too. That way you will forego the
phone bills and be able to talk to your honey everyday for free!

Hi Jenny,

Use Skype, it is free and you can talk quite well over
any internet connection. In the worst case, they have
SkypeOut with the best rates as far as I can tell.
